California: Ventana Inn offers free room upgrade with photo package

Nature photographers looking to polish their camera skills may want to check out this Big Sur hotel package, which comes with a complimentary room upgrade. The Ventana Inn & Spa‘s Photo Safari includes:
- Accommodations in a Big Sur Suite, or better.
- A $150 dining credit, good for dinner for two (one per stay).
- Two 50-minute spa treatments.
- One two-hour photography session and guided tour of Big Sur, led by an instructor.
- One 16-by-24-inch print of an image taken during the photo tour.
The package starts at $645 for a three-night minimum stay, with savings beginning at $425. Because the room rate is based on availability, the total savings depend on when the package is booked.
The package is good for stays in March, April or May and can be booked by calling (831) 667-2331. It must be booked at least four days prior to arrival and before March 31.
The Ventana Inn & Spa sits on 243 acres just off Highway 1, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
