Reporting from Las Vegas — How does the chichi Bellagio get even swankier? With a remodel of the 403 suites in the hotel’s main tower.
The $165-million remodel started in 2011 and included an overhaul of all 3,933 rooms and suites. That’s now complete.
The new look created by MGM Resorts International Design Group brought in wood and lacquer for a more modern look in the Bellagio Tower.
Following the lead of the Spa Tower’s redesign, the recently finished suites now have a new color palette as well in dragon fruit pink and green. The resort says the new color scheme is “meant to promote rejuvenation of the spirit.”
Some rooms and suites at the resort include views of the Fountains of Bellagio, while the remainder look out on the Spring Mountains to the west of Las Vegas. Even the most basic room here includes a bedside iHome docking station, laptop-friendly nightstand safe and automatic drapery and sheer controls. Housekeeping even stops by twice a day.
Room rates start at $151.
