Carlos Santana adds 2016 dates to his residency at House of Blues

Reporting from Las Vegas — Guitarist and singer Carlos Santana sticks around Las Vegas a bit longer with new dates for his resident show at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.
His show, “An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live,” is now in its fourth year at the venue.
Santana has sold more than 100 million records and won 10 Grammy Awards during his 40-plus-year career. Some of the guitar virtuoso’s biggest hits since debuting at Woodstock in 1969 include “Black Magic Woman,” “Evil Ways,” “Oye Como Va” and “Smooth.”
New 2016 performance dates include Jan. 27 and 29-31; Feb. 3-6; and May 18, 20-22, 25 and 27-29.
Fans who want to get up close to Santana can party just feet from the icon with La Zona Fiesta tickets. Other VIP packages include limited-edition photos and specialty dining and beverage packages with stage-side dining.
Tickets start at $99.50 and go on sale Friday.
